Child Legacy is committed to enhancing the lives of people in Africa today – and giving them the right tools to provide for a better future tomorrow.

For over 20 years, we have delivered sustainable programs that build communities and enrich the lives of individuals. It begins by adding clean water, the foundation of life. From it springs forth opportunities for healthcare, education, vocational training, food, and self-sustaining renewable energy. Where it will never end is with the living water that comes from Jesus Christ, the foundation of life eternal. Because we believe that one's destiny in life is formed by his walk with God, everything we do is our platform to share the gift of salvation.
Simply put, we're creating a foundation for long-term success and changing destinies for generations to come in Africa.

personH• In order to increase sustainability and help the environment, CLI utilizes renewable energy sources, powering our healthcare centers, vocational training schools, and children's homes with water jackpumps, wind turbines, and solar panels.

With no access to power grids in the rural areas, these energy sources provide a stable source of electricity and water with minimal long-term operational costs.

Initial set up of the complex is expensive, but its long-term benefits far outweigh the price tag. In times of drought, our renewable energy complex in Chingele, Zimbabwe has kept our orchards and gardens alive and productive through gravity-fed irrigation systems.
These orchards and gardens have provided fruits and vegetables to thousands of Zimbabweans during famine and in times of plenty (which have not existed in Zimbabwe for many years). The surplus produce brings in extra income for the local community by its sale in nearby markets.

Sustainable Agriculture
While billions of dollars in international aid has been funneled into Africa's developing nations, these funds have made few lasting changes for the people. CLI realizes that providing food for the hungry is necessary - but if people are to provide for themselves, they need opportunity - a hand up, rather than a hand out. In a volatile world, Africa needs sustainable solutions for stability and growth. We need to deliver opportunities, so people can help themselves and change their own destinies!
